The Role
Our client in Darwin is seeking a highly skilled Staff Specialist Medical Oncologist to join their team at the Tertiary level 3 Teaching Hospital. As a specialist, you will be responsible for providing expert diagnosis, treatment, and care for public hospital outpatients in the subspecialty of medical oncology.

Darwin is a beautiful, fascinating tropical city, known for its unique and friendly laid-back lifestyle. With its world-class natural and cultural attractions, it is also a thriving hub of activity in terms of tourism, nightlife, and retail. The city has a sophisticated, modern feel, yet is steeped in history and has endured many hardships on its way to establishing itself as the gateway to Asia.
The Facility
This hospital is one of the largest in the region, with just under 400 beds and around 1,700 staff. It services a population of 200,000 in a catchment area including urban communities, regional hospitals, and remote Aboriginal communities. The hospital is affiliated with Flinders University, with an onsite Medical School, and is ACEM accredited as a major referral centre for two years of advanced emergency training.
What We Offer
We are offering a competitive salary range of $320,000 - $450,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and access to state-of-the-art facilities.
