Join us as a skilled frontend developer where you will have the opportunity to grow and shape roles around people. At our company, we are looking for a talented individual to develop and integrate technical solutions for websites, eCommerce platforms, and custom apps.

About the Role

This is a challenging position that requires strong problem-solving skills, communication, and collaboration. As a frontend developer, you will work on primarily frontend development tasks (JavaScript/CSS) with some full-stack and integration work, collaborating with a team handling frontend, content, and design.

The role emphasizes reflecting design accurately and leveraging feedback to create a refined, on-brand user experience. You will be responsible for structuring databases, defining logic for sorting and filtering, and learning basics of each platform's APIs to improve client workflows and user experience.

We are open to your leaning into other areas if that works for you. Our team collaborates closely with designers, copywriters, and project managers to meet client briefs and deliver aligned, high-quality user experiences.

Responsibilities
  • Develop custom solutions for websites (Webflow), eCommerce (Shopify), and related apps.
  • Collaborate with designers, copywriters, and project managers to meet client briefs and deliver aligned, high-quality user experiences.
  • Work primarily on frontend development (JS/CSS), with database logic/configuration and third-party integrations.
  • Learn and apply APIs from platforms such as Google Workspace, Zapier, Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, Google Tag Manager, Airtable, and similar tools.
  • Contribute to planning and estimation, and participate in client workshops and reviews when appropriate.
Requirements
  • 4+ years of frontend development experience.
  • Experience with Webflow and Shopify is preferred, plus familiarity with related integrations.
  • Ability to work across frontend, some full-stack areas, and integration tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.

Victoria, with remote work and weekly in-person meetups at the co-working Hub Southern Cross. We also support short overseas assignments for team members.

Employment Type

Full-time (9 day fortnight; every 2nd Friday off).
