We're looking for a talented designer to join our team in Brisbane, AU. As a key member of our product development team, you'll play a crucial role in researching trends, creating mood boards, curating cohesive collections, and designing commercially strong products from conception through development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Stay ahead of market trends, consumer needs, and competition in the Australian market
  • Collaborate with suppliers, buying teams, and merchandising leadership to ensure all designed ranges & products align with category strategy
  • Manage the full development cycle of all new exclusively developed products, from design hand-off through to TOPs (inclusive of exclusives buying team initiates)
  • Participate in quarterly trend presentations, interpreting styles in the market and translating them to the customer
  • Create mood boards, CADs, and/or flats of silhouettes and prints to pass off to suppliers for development
  • Lead and manage pre-production samples, ensuring all exclusive items meet quality, fit, & styling requirements/standards
Requirements:
  • Result-oriented and self-motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Able to prioritize projects frequently
  • Excellent verbal communication skills to communicate clearly, effectively, and timely with colleagues at all levels
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision, check ego at the door, and work well with others at all levels in the organization
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Keen attention to detail with strong multi-tasking skills
  • Ability to thrive in ambiguous and fast-paced environments
  • Data-driven decision-making mentality, sound business judgment, and the ability to back recommendations up with meaningful analytical thinking
