About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and friendly Café Attendant to join our team at the Terrace Café within our Aminya Retirement Village. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the café runs smoothly and provides an exceptional experience for our residents and visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve food and beverages to a high standard
  • Provide exceptional customer service and interact with residents and visitors in a friendly and positive manner
  • Operate a point of sale terminal and EFTPOS machine efficiently and accurately
  • Handle cash and maintain a secure and organized cash handling system
  • Perform café cleaning duties and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Support the Café Team with a 'can do' attitude and contribute to a positive and inclusive team culture
Requirements
  • Previous experience in food preparation, presentation, and coffee making
  • Cash handling and EFTPOS experience
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and public holidays
