
Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Sourcing Specialist to join our commercial cleaning and integrated property services team in Sydney.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing effective procurement strategies to secure quality products and services at the best possible prices.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic Procurement: Develop and implement cost-effective sourcing plans that meet business objectives without compromising on quality.
Seller Management: Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to establish mutually beneficial relationships. Ensure supplier performance through regular assessments.
Expenditure Control: Monitor and analyse market trends to make informed decisions that contribute to cost savings. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions. Draft and review contracts to protect the company's interests.
Quality Assurance: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to establish and maintain quality standards for products and services. Implement processes to ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services.
Inventory Governance: Oversee inventory levels to prevent stockouts and excess inventory. Implement efficient inventory control measures.
Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks. Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Requirements include:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Procurement in the commercial cleaning / property services industry, both direct and indirect spend.
- In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices and supply chain management.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
