About the Position

We are seeking motivated, eager, and reliable individuals for permanent grounds and maintenance cleaner positions. The successful candidates will work in a small team to complete daily grounds keeping and cleaning tasks at a commercial facility.

  • Cleaning outdoor furniture and external signage of buildings
  • Ensuring external walkways, carparks, pathways, and gardens beds are clear of rubbish and debris
  • Basic machine operation including backpack and handheld blower, Billy Goat machine, and power tools
  • Dusting and cobweb removal (internal and external)
  • Responding to adhoc spills and cleaning requests
  • Minor repairs and maintenance
  • General cleaning tasks such as vacuuming/mopping floors, glass, and touchpoint cleaning, cleaning/disinfecting desks, hard surfaces, and bathroom facilities
  • Periodical cleaning including carpet cleaning, high pressure washing, floor polishing, tile scrubbing, and general machine operation
  • Emptying and moving bins across the grounds
About You
  • Demonstrated similar experience in an outdoor/grounds keeping role (preferred)
  • Valid Driver's Licence
  • Own reliable transport to get to and from work
  • Able to pass and willing to obtain DCSI (within 5 years) & National Police Clearance (within 12 months)
  • High customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
  • High standard of work, cleanliness, and attention to detail
  • Ability to follow directions, work at a fast pace, and keep to time limits and required expectations
  • Able to pass a pre-employment medical
  • Able to work autonomously and use initiative
  • Have a smartphone to clock in and out of shifts
