We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead to join our team at headspace, a leading provider of youth mental health services. As a Clinical Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing clinical leadership, supervision, and support to our dedicated team of mental health professionals.
Working closely with the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that our clinical services align with the Australian Early Psychosis Guidelines and the headspace model. You will also lead quality assurance initiatives, such as file auditing and clinical reviews, to foster a culture of continuous improvement within our team.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of young people and their families, providing compassionate and effective care to those experiencing mental health issues. You will also be part of a dynamic and innovative team that is committed to making a positive impact in our community.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and supervision to the Primary Mental Health Team and Social Emotional Wellbeing Worker
- Ensure that clinical services align with the Australian Early Psychosis Guidelines and the headspace model
- Lead quality assurance initiatives, such as file auditing and clinical reviews
- Work closely with the Centre Manager to ensure effective team management and coordination
- Develop and implement strategies to improve clinical outcomes and service delivery
- Approved tertiary qualification in a health-related discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a health-related discipline, with postgraduate qualifications in evidence-based therapeutic modalities (i.e. CBT and ACT)
- Registration with the relevant regulatory body (AHPRA or AASW)
- Demonstrated effective leadership skills, with experience in providing clinical leadership and supervision within a multi-disciplinary team
- Experience providing a range of early intervention services to young people within a mental health setting, including provision of group programs
- Ability to work respectfully and collaboratively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people, their families, communities, staff, and Aboriginal controlled organisations
