Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Legal Counsel to join our Legal and Compliance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving a culture of excellence in legal risk management, governance, and compliance across Humm Group. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring that our legal and regulatory frameworks are properly embedded, with appropriate training and education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and implementation of legal risk management and compliance strategies across Humm Group.
  • Provide high-quality legal advice and guidance to senior stakeholders, ensuring that our business operations are compliant with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal and regulatory risks, ensuring the effective operation of our business.
  • Develop and maintain deep relationships with key stakeholders, including the Chief Legal and Commercial Officer, to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging regulatory trends and developments, providing expert advice on compliance matters.
Requirements
  • LLB or equivalent legal accreditation.
  • 5+ years' post-admission experience in a relevant financial services compliance environment.
  • Proven track record of driving compliance initiatives and developing effective risk management strategies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under pressure.
