Display Draftsperson

About the Role

Metricon Homes Qld. is seeking a skilled Display Draftsperson to join our National Product Development team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in creating high-quality drafting documentation for our display homes.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete drafting documentation for display homes from concept to handover
• Produce drawings to support the workflow process, reflecting customer requirements and incorporating amendments
• Respond to critical customer needs and inspect construction to mark up as constructed plans
• Communicate and address variations and site minutes to rectify on-site issues
• Ensure display architectural documentation is completed as per design intent and within timeframes
• Maintain a thorough working knowledge of the workflow information system and company software

Requirements

• Diploma in Building Design/Drafting/Construction or equivalent
• Minimum 2+ years in residential volume home building
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Sound knowledge of Building Regulations, Building Code of Australia, and relevant Australian Standards
• Sound knowledge of Revit
