We are seeking an experienced professional to join our employment tax team in Melbourne.

About the Role

As a Senior Associate, you will work alongside a team of experts to develop your specialist tax advisory expertise with a focus on global mobility arrangements, FBT, payroll tax, superannuation, employee share schemes, remuneration planning and salary sacrifice arrangements across a diverse range of national clients.

  • Consult and advise on a wide variety of FBT, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, ESS, PAYG and employee versus contractor matters, including audits and cross border issues
  • Provide international assignment consulting and compliance services across a range of clients and matters
  • Prepare FBT returns using specialist software
  • Review and develop FBT policies and procedures for employers
  • Prepare and review payroll tax returns. Undertaking compliance reviews and 'Health Checks' for employers' employment tax obligations
  • Design and implement share plans for C-suite and all other levels
  • Work collaboratively with data and technology experts to help design automated tools
  • Couch and mentor junior team members
Key Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar or complimentary role
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships and work independently
  • Strong research and legal interpretation skills
  • Proactive approach to client relationships and cross selling of services
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Degree qualification, majoring in Accounting, Tax, Commerce, Economics, Finance or Law
