We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Scrub Scout Nurse to join our Scrub/Scout Perioperative team on a full-time, part-time, or casual basis.
Key Responsibilities- Provide exceptional care throughout patients' procedures, aiming to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Demonstrate clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and patient management within the theatre complex.
- Implement strategies to ensure quality and risk management are integrated into daily activities.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional development.
- Provide education and training assistance to other staff when applicable.
Brisbane Private Hospital is a 181-bed facility providing expert care in various fields, including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, and general surgery. The hospital is centrally located with excellent public transport access.
Essential Criteria- Diploma of Nursing.
- A minimum of one year experience as Scrub/Scout Nurse.
- Proven experience working in ENT/Plastics, minor & major Orthopaedics, or Neuro/Sprinal Surgery.
- Registered with no restrictions with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia - AHPRA.
- Compliance with ACQSHC National Standards.
- Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously.
If successful, you will receive a salary based on the current nursing Enterprise Agreement, with a salary range between $35.75-$38.72/hr for Enrolled Nurses.
