Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the Gaza Ridge Health Centre. As a Defence Healthcare Specialist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality clinical care to patients, developing and maintaining patient care plans, and liaising with the multi-disciplinary healthcare team.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing assessment and treatment of patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings
- Developing and maintaining patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure co-ordinated patient management
In return for your expertise and dedication, you will receive a competitive salary package including a base salary of $93,000 per annum, plus superannuation and benefits. Required Skills and QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
- A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- A minimum of 12 months post-graduate experience within the last 5 years in an acute care, primary health care, or military setting
- Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities in accordance with AHPRA
- Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
