As a successful candidate, you'll bring:

  • Proven experience producing accurate, high-quality journalism under deadline
  • Strong writing, research and analysis skills across digital and social platforms
  • A creative, curious mindset with a drive to find and tell important local stories
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative editorial team
  • Confidence presenting data and visualising it to strengthen your reporting
  • Tertiary qualifications in journalism or a related field (preferred)
