About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to work in contract management, performing complex tasks within an integrated workforce.

  • Contract management expertise will be applied to deliver results and achieve outcomes.
  • Support will be provided for effective contract administration, including the Regional Maintenance Provider – North East contract.
  • Pricing and cost analysis outputs will be interpreted and advice provided based on legislation, policy and contractual requirements.
  • Specialist research and analysis will be undertaken, along with financial administration functions, reviews and procedural support work to achieve goals.
  • Stakeholders will be engaged and communication will occur to identify, respond and provide advice on issues to meet Defence outcomes.
About Our Organisation

Regional Maintenance Centre (RMC) North East is based in Cairns, providing capability support to the Royal Australian Navy.

The focus of this organisation will be on enhanced collaboration, coordination, workforce development and expansion to build the capability and capacity needed to meet increasing ship maintenance demands.
