We are seeking experienced Clinical Coders to join our team on a permanent basis. This role involves coding episodes using ICD-10-AM in accordance with Australian Coding Standards and relevant state and national advice.

Key responsibilities include accurately coding episodes, ensuring timely completion of coding tasks, participating in documentation improvement and revenue optimisation activities, and participating in Coding audit activities as required.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor of Applied Science (Health Information Management) or equivalent tertiary qualification; or Completion of approved HIMAA course in ICD-10-AM intermediate coding. A minimum of 3 years' experience in Clinical Coding using ICD-10-AM Classification system across broad Casemix is essential. Strong computer literacy, ability to effectively prioritise and work to tight deadlines, and proven ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are also required.
