Job Title: Machine Operator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our team in a fast-paced production environment.

This role offers the opportunity to work independently, develop strong communication and organizational skills, while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine all necessary job or order specifications, including quantity, material, style, and special requirements from the job jacket.
  • Verify approvals and notify Quality Assurance if any are missing.
  • Set up and operate the machine with expected quality and productivity levels.
  • Identify and correct in-process quality issues and mark questionable loads according to work instructions.
  • Report raw material usage and production time accurately in the reporting system.
  • Inspect each load produced and communicate any problems or inconsistencies to management.
  • Keep management informed of job status and provide input for continuous improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Maintain safe movement throughout the production area and navigate equipment safely.
  • Proficiently use a pallet jack to transport materials to and from staging areas.
  • Perform setup and maintenance tasks on or in the machine, requiring ability to lean, lie down, stoop, kneel, and stand.
  • Lift and carry equipment and materials weighing up to 35 pounds.
  • Closely inspect work in process for accuracy.
