Mental Health Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our mental health nursing team.
The successful candidate will work in a supportive environment that fosters the recovery model for consumers, providing supervised care in hospital when community treatment is not possible.
This role involves delivering high-quality patient care in mental health at a postgraduate level, working as part of a multidisciplinary team, and applying professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the provision of care and assessment and management of risk within the mental health environment, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality patient care in mental health at a postgraduate level.
- Work as part of a multidisciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries in complex situations.
- Proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence.
- Demonstrate high-level written and verbal communication, interpersonal skills and the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others.
Requirements:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia.
- Experience in the provision of care and assessment and management of risk within the mental health environment.
