About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dance Teacher to join our team at John Forrest Secondary College. As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality dance education to students, inspiring them to develop their skills and confidence in a variety of dance genres.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver dance lessons to students, using a range of teaching methods and resources to engage and motivate learners.
  • Develop and implement dance programs that cater to diverse student needs and abilities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver dance performances and events.
  • Provide feedback and guidance to students on their dance technique and performance.

Requirements

  • High level skills, training, and experience in a variety of dance genres.
  • Strong understanding of Western Australian Curriculum (Dance genre).
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their dance skills.
  • Collaboration and leadership skills to work as part of a team and independently.
