Job Description
">The role of a career advisor in an educational setting involves providing guidance and support to students as they navigate academic and career decisions. This position requires strong communication skills, the ability to work well in a team environment, and a solid understanding of the education system.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Provide comprehensive advice to students on various academic and career options.
- Maintain engagement with students post-enrolment to enhance retention rates.
- Ensure accurate client information is maintained in the company's database.
- Stay up-to-date with industry knowledge through research and analysis.
- Build relationships with external stakeholders, including student body associations, agents, partners, and education providers.
- Participate in marketing strategies to engage prospective clients.
- Adhere to professional standards and maintain confidentiality.
- Participate in product training and assessment activities as directed.
- Collaborate with other advisors, team leaders, and operations managers for seamless process execution and sales pipelines.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and policies.
Qualifications:
">- Minimum 2 years of experience in education counselling is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of the education system and institutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
