Skilled Tradesperson: Bricklayer Required

We are seeking a highly skilled tradesperson to join our team in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Tasmania, and Perth. As a bricklayer, you will be responsible for laying bricks and blocks, applying or removing mortar with a trowel, and working accurately from detailed plans and specifications.

  • Laying bricks and blocks requires attention to detail and the ability to work accurately from detailed plans and specifications.
  • You will need to apply or remove mortar with a trowel, which involves working with materials and tools to achieve precise results.
  • As a bricklayer, you will also be responsible for sealing foundations with damp-resistant materials and using spirit levels and plumb lines to check building alignment.
  • Additionally, you will use hand tools, power tools, and brick-cutting machines to repair and maintain building blocks.
  • You will measure out build areas and set out the first rows of bricks and damp course.

Requirements:

  • A Certificate III in Bricklaying is required for this position.
  • A valid driver's license is also necessary for this role.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work accurately from detailed plans and specifications.
