Network Engineer Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Network and Security Gateway professional to collaborate with a large federal government department on various projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining network infrastructure solutions that meet the evolving demands of our organization.

  • Developing and implementing comprehensive network architecture designs to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Providing expert technical support for project build, test, and deployment activities to guarantee seamless execution.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining documentation, including design documents, implementation plans, test plans, and support procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and implementation of strategies, operational policies, and procedures, as well as change initiatives.
  • Participating in change management processes and communicating the end-to-end implications of configuration changes.
  • Offering detailed, specialist technical advice, including strategic guidance to senior executives.
  • Engaging and partnering with other agencies and service providers to enhance service delivery capabilities.
  • Managing backup, high availability, and disaster recovery solutions for IT systems.
  • Maintaining regular patch maintenance and support packages for all technical layers.
  • Overseeing the administration and operation of the Gateway network kit.
