Distinguished Programme Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our Hunter Class Delivery team based at Osborne Naval Shipyard, South Australia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and engaging stakeholders, including the project team and lead sub-contractors / consultants to achieve the required customer and company outcomes for complicated to complex projects.

This role has a focus on team leadership and project strategy, underpinned by excellence in project delivery. In addition to delivery, the role will focus on how the complex project scope will support business, program and portfolio strategy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leadership and delivery of predominately complex projects
• Execution of strategic projects
• Develop strategic relationships with industry partners and BAE Systems international entities
• Provide leadership and guidance to the project team, which is aligned to strategic business objectives

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Project Management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to problem solve and work autonomously to deliver outcomes.
