ESG Project Manager, APAC

We are seeking a highly skilled ESG Project Manager to play a key role in providing independent assurance of GHG/ESG information with multinational clients across a wide range of sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and execute climate, sustainability, and ESG assurance engagements globally, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results.
  • Manage planning and project budgets, updating internal budget tracking tools, forecasts, and invoicing multiple complex projects effectively.
  • Lead presenter in all client interactions within a project, including in-person or online kick-off meetings, project status meetings, site visits, and management report closeouts.
  • Contribute to the team's success by building and maintaining strong client relationships, anticipating and understanding clients' needs, and developing proposals that meet their expectations.
  • Recruit, mentor, and support the development of project team members and direct reports, fostering a culture of growth and learning.
Requirements:
  • Education: A degree-level education in a sustainability, engineering, business, or audit-related field is essential.
  • Experience: 5-6 years of professional experience in the professional services industry is preferred.
  • Expertise: Project management, managing multiple clients simultaneously, and ensuring delivery of deadlines are critical skills.
  • Strong understanding of assurance standards, assurance assertions, and audit procedures is necessary.
  • Broad working knowledge of all sustainability/ESG topics, including GHG emissions, waste, biodiversity, health and safety, EDI, supply chain, governance, etc. is required.
  • Knowledge of sustainability and GHG reporting frameworks used as reporting frameworks is beneficial.
  • Experience and/or knowledge of Australian regulatory reporting obligations is desirable.
  • Proven ability in data and spreadsheet analysis using Microsoft Excel is essential.
  • Demonstrable writing, communication, and presentation skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Willingness and ability to learn quickly and contribute enthusiastically to our growing business are valued traits.
