The Senior Geologist is a leadership position responsible for guiding and mentoring junior staff in geology-related projects, tasks, and assignments. The role encompasses project planning, budgeting, report preparation, client communication, and supervision of field and office work.

About the Job Description:
  • Lead and direct the efforts of junior geologists and other support staff on hydrogeological investigations, environmental evaluations, and sampling.
  • Develop comprehensive design recommendations for complex or unusual geological conditions.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to teams with varying responsibilities and tasks, identifying training needs and providing counsel.
  • Independently scope and budget projects, prepare proposal documents, and serve as an initial reviewer on selected projects.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a closely related technical field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in geology, including professional licensure (PG).
Work Expectations:
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions.
  • Travel may be required for out-of-town assignments.
