Are you an experienced and qualified Paint Technician looking to take your career to the next level? We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a full-time Spray Painter.

As a Spray Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality paintwork to vehicles, ensuring they are returned to their pre-accident condition. You will work in a dynamic environment with a team of professionals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service.

The ideal candidate will have a trade qualification in painting and at least 3 years of experience in a similar role. You will possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mix and match paint to achieve perfect color matches.
  • Develop and maintain a colour library.
  • Prep, prime, and paint vehicles according to job sheet requirements.
  • Buff and denib vehicles to a high standard.
  • Carefully handle all vehicles to prevent damage.
  • Document any additional paint work required beyond the quoted amount.
  • Notify production managers of any old damage or subpar previous repairs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide coaching and guidance to apprentices when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Trade qualified Spray Painter.
  • Minimum 3 years experience working as a trade qualified Spray Painter.
  • Strong commitment to working safely.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Meet strict deadlines.
  • Be reliable, punctual & hardworking.
  • Own necessary tools to perform duties.
