Job Summary

Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Music Educator to join our team. As a Music Educator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality music education to students in a primary school setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement engaging music programs for students from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 6
  • Oversee the instrumental music program and provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents
  • Provide liturgical music for school masses and other events
  • Collaborate with the Arts Team to develop and implement music curriculum
  • Coordinate a small rock band and choir programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with parents and the wider school community

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Education (Primary) or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board of WA (TRBWA)
  • Ability to support the Catholic ethos in the performance of duties
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Love and passion for music
