About the Position

This role involves managing mine closure plans, collaborating with our national group, and supporting technical engineering design activities. Key responsibilities include developing mine closure plans, supporting technical engineering design activities, and undertaking site visits as required.

  • Develop mine closure plans and regulatory documentation against industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and corporate standards.
  • Support and manage technical engineering design activities, including landform design and slope stability analyses.

About You

  • Tertiary engineering degree (Civil, Mining, Environmental etc) or equivalent degree with demonstrated experience in mine closure planning and/or engineering design supporting closure projects.
  • Commitment to the principles of closure and asset transition.
  • Experience in preparation and management of closure cost estimates would be highly regarded.
