This is a unique opportunity to work in a diverse, meaningful role that focuses on supporting NDIS participants to achieve their personal goals and participate fully in their communities.

The role involves providing tailored support to individuals with disabilities, promoting independence, choice, inclusion, and well-being. You will work closely with clients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals to support client goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Personal Care: Provide support with showering, dressing, grooming, and toileting as required.
  • Manual Handling: Assist with mobility and physical support needs to ensure clients' safety and well-being.
  • Community Access: Facilitate participation in social, recreational, and community activities that promote engagement and inclusion.
  • Domestic Support: Provide light cleaning, meal preparation, and general home care to maintain a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Behavioural Support: Assist clients with complex behaviours and implement strategies where required, including restrictive practices to ensure client safety.
  • Client Support Plans: Work with clients, families, and carers to develop and implement individualised support plans that meet client needs and goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely client records and reports to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
Requirements:
  • Australian Federal Police Check
  • Current First Aid & CPR Certification
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence
  • Own reliable, insured vehicle (with comprehensive insurance)
  • Full working rights in Australia
  • Smartphone with internet access
