Mathematics Education Leadership Opportunity

This esteemed educational institution is seeking a dedicated and innovative Mathematics teacher to assume the role of Assistant Head of Department, supporting the development and delivery of the Mathematics curriculum across Years 7-12.

The successful applicant will possess exceptional teaching expertise, with a proven track record in delivering engaging and rigorous lessons. A strong interest in developing as an educational leader is essential, as well as experience teaching the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme. Additionally, the ability to effectively integrate Information and Communication Technology (ICT) into the classroom and differentiate instruction to meet diverse student needs is highly valued.

We are looking for a collaborative and flexible individual who can work effectively within a team environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Mathematics education and a commitment to excellence in teaching and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Head of Department in the development and implementation of the Mathematics curriculum
  • Teach Mathematics to students in Years 7-12
  • Develop and lead professional learning programs for colleagues
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance the overall educational experience
