Practitioner - Student Support Services

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Practitioner to join our Student Support Services team. In this role, you will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide assessment, consultation, support, and program advice to improve teaching, learning and wellbeing strategies for students requiring support.

You will have the opportunity to make a positive contribution to the life of children and young people, their families, schools, and communities.

This is a challenging and dynamic role that requires highly developed communication skills, including report-writing, networking, and interpersonal skills that enable effective liaison with a range of people in the education community and beyond.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Psychologist: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in psychology; full Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioners Registration Agency (AHPRA).
  • Occupational Therapist: A graduate or post-graduate qualification in Occupational Therapy; registration as an occupational therapist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Social Worker: A graduate or post-graduate degree in social work or equivalent; eligibility for membership of the Australia Association of Social Workers.
  • Speech Pathologist: A graduate or post-graduate degree in speech pathology. Eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
