Role Overview

This is an exceptional opportunity to provide high-intensity care for a client with complex medical needs in their home. As a dedicated carer, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive support and ensuring the client's safety and comfort at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical expertise, particularly in tracheostomy and ventilator care, although training is available for those willing to upskill. You will work a variety of shifts across a 24/7 roster, enjoying support from a clinical nurse educator and after-hours team.

To succeed in this role, you should have excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to build meaningful relationships. A driver's license and own vehicle are also required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide one-to-one in-home care to a client with complex needs, including tracheostomy care and ventilator management.
  • Work across a rotating 24/7 roster, ensuring seamless support at all times.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and our clinical team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Requirements:
  • Clinical Expertise: Experience in tracheostomy and ventilator care or willingness to upskill.
  • Professionalism and Reliability: Proven track record of delivering high-quality support.
  • Driving Capability: Own car and valid driver's license.
