Job Overview

This is a permanent position with a global organization located in Adelaide Airport.

The incumbent will be accountable for all operational requirements and driving continuous improvement to deliver high customer service standards and achieve business objectives.

The wellbeing and morale of the team are also in your hands, ensuring overall safety compliance, providing regular team communications, managing effective labor planning, plus coaching and development are key to your success and that of the team.

  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and employee engagement.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

The warehouse environment is fast-paced and full of variety each day. The diversity of products across multiple sectors means more diversity in your role. You will have exposure to multiple areas of the business and have the full support and guidance from senior management.

About You

You'll have an entrepreneurial spirit and the ability to motivate and bring out the best in your team. Strong teamwork skills are essential to interacting effectively with all areas of the business to deliver a great experience for our customers.

A positive attitude and the ability to think on your feet are crucial, along with strong time management skills to meet deadlines. Great attention to detail and understanding of warehouse systems are also required.

Experience with managing hazardous materials and chain of responsibility is a must. Confident and effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to deal with customers, staff, and management at all levels.

An understanding of Warehouse Management processes and procedures will help drive continuous improvement. Intermediate MS Office skills (Word & Excel) and RF scanning knowledge are also required.

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems

Cert III in Warehousing, proven Customer Service Excellence, outstanding problem-solving skills, knowledge of RF scanning, and proficient operation of a forklift with relevant qualifications are highly desirable.
