Principal Data Storage Specialist

As a senior technical leader, you will spearhead the development of data storage solutions and protocols. Your primary goal is to ensure seamless communication and operation between our systems and external parties while maintaining high standards of performance, security, and protocol compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and refine interoperability strategies to facilitate smooth data exchange.
- Lead design reviews for storage features to guarantee protocol compliance.
- Oversight of the technical roadmap for interoperability enhancements.
- Resolution of complex interop-related issues, including protocol mismatches, data IO errors, and integration failures.
- Expertise in C/C++ programming with LINUX/UNIX environments.
- Deep understanding of operating systems, data access protocols, data storage systems, cloud, and Kubernetes.
- Able to debug complex inter-system issues and lead root cause analysis.
- Strong algorithms, data structures, and multi-threaded programming experience is preferred.
- Collaborative working skills with other engineers.
- Knowledge of storage or cloud technologies.
- 5+ years of relevant experience is required.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, or equivalent experience is mandatory.
