About the RoleWe are seeking a Home Care Support Specialist to join our team in the ACT. As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting our customers to maintain their independence and quality of life while remaining in the comfort and familiarity of their own homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and support to customers in their homes
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Support customers with medication management and administration
- Engage in social activities and provide companionship to customers
Requirements:
- Relevant Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
- Medication Competency Certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate and CPR
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
