About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Process Operator to join our team at The Smith's Snackfood Company, a leading manufacturer of iconic brands such as Doritos, Gatorade, and Pepsi Max. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality products are produced while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure flavour testing is completed effectively and accurate flavour is supplied in accordance with product run
  • Complete quality checks as required with management of materials and waste
  • Operate production machinery, including advanced centre-lining, process equipment operation, monitoring and cleaning
  • Monitor quality performance optimization and carry out advanced production line management, equipment calibration and monitoring
  • Prepare and complete accurate records, ensuring products remain within specifications
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • At least three years experience in a Processing role (preferably within a food manufacturing environment or industrial kitchen/cooking environment)
  • Ability to work autonomously, whilst working towards achieving team goals
  • Understanding of HACCP and GMP with a record of reliability and safe work practices
  • High mechanical aptitude with strong attention to detail, safety and reliability
  • Motivated individual with a hunger to learn new skills, challenge yourself and progress your career
