About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior HSE Advisor to support our HSE Lead on a construction project in the North West of WA. The position is a fixed-term contract position where you can develop your career while enjoying the many benefits of joining a leading national engineering company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and coaching to other members of the HSE Team.
  • Provide HSE guidance and advice to the Project team.
  • Review and update Project-specific HSE management plans and risk registers.
  • Monitor work practices to ensure adherence to safety and environmental procedures and standards.
  • Conduct routine and ad-hoc analysis on HSE performance data to identify performance trends and areas of concern on the Project.
  • Support the implementation and management of Monadelphous HSE initiatives on the Project.
  • Conducting serious incident investigation teams and ensuring investigation time frames are met.
  • Coordinating injury management.
  • Conducting HSE audits and inspections. Compile required HSE performance data and reporting requirements for both internal and customer.
  • Coordination and delivery of HSE training as required and ensure records are maintained.
  • Working closely with the client HSE team.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a Senior HSE Advisor role.
  • Minimum qualification is a Certificate IV in OHS.
  • Strong understanding and a working knowledge of appropriate Australian Safety legislation, standards, and codes.
  • Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in advanced written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively influence and deliver in a dynamic and diverse project environment.
  • A strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
