About the Role

  • The Finance and Accounting Officer is responsible for providing financial support to the team, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
  • This role involves preparing and maintaining financial statements, reports, and records, as well as overseeing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
  • You will also be involved in budget preparation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis, as well as ensuring compliance with Australian tax regulations.
  • In addition, you will assist with month-end closing responsibilities, reconcile general ledger, petty cash, receipts, allowance, and credit cards, and monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and account reconciliations.
  • Finally, you will provide financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making and conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping.
