About the RoleAs the Manager Community Places, you will play a key role in driving the strategic direction and operational management of our community infrastructure. This position requires a strong leader who can oversee the planning and delivery of initiatives that enhance community life. You will be responsible for managing key sites, maintaining our buildings and facilities, and ensuring that all services meet the current and future needs of our community.
Candidate ProfileWe are seeking an experienced leader with a strong background in community development, recreation, or facility management. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic approach to managing community infrastructure, with a demonstrated ability to oversee a diverse range of facilities and services. You will have exceptional leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and building positive relationships across the community and Council. Strong financial management experience, including contract oversight, is essential, along with the ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure that services meet the evolving needs of our community.
