At Editorialist, we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Controller to manage our financial assets, ensure adequate cash flow, and mitigate financial risks. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for process improvement, automation, and financial forecasting.

• Monitor cash and debt balances, making recommendations on cash movements and debt repayments to ensure liquidity structure.
• Improve our tech tools, processes, and documentation to enhance financial management.
• Forecast and report on cash and working capital, maintaining entitlements for access to cash and debt information.
• Provide guidance and support to team members, establishing strong relationships with payment processing vendors and financial institutions.
• Maintain a cash forecast model for overall business liquidity, staying up-to-date with capital markets, credit ratings, interest rates, and other relevant KPIs.
• Assist with maintaining our capitalization table and providing assistance to investors, as well as ongoing risk assessments, insurance policy renewals, and potential interest or derivative transactions.

• Controller-level or above experience in managing US initiatives, with deep knowledge of US GAAP.
• Strong cash management background, with a Bachelor's degree in business finance or accounting.
• 10+ years of experience in investment banking, corporate treasury, or a related field, with a focus on process improvement.
• Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred, with advanced financial modeling skills and great presentation skills.
• Experience with corporate debt and equity structures, including leverage calculations and debt covenants.
