About Our Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate professional to join our team as a Deputy Team Leader. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and contribute to our mission of delivering exceptional care and education.

Job Description

This role will provide support to the Director of Service in ensuring the delivery of high-quality programs for children. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the development and implementation of enriching experiences that cater to the needs and preferences of children;
  • Supporting program compliance and ensuring that we exceed industry standards;
  • Fostering strong relationships with schools, parents, and the wider community;
  • Engaging in play-based activities with primary school-aged children;

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for working with children. They will also be a strong team player who can lead and motivate others to achieve success.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A positive and can-do attitude;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • A willingness to learn and develop your skills in the childcare industry;
  • Basic knowledge of child safety and wellbeing principles;

Prior experience in a similar role or related field would be advantageous, but not essential. We are happy to provide training and support to ensure your success.
