Cybersecurity Threat Response Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Response Strategist to join our team at Cisco. This role is responsible for developing and implementing threat response strategies to protect our company and customers' data from evolving threats.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement threat response strategies to mitigate potential security risks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless incident response and management
- Lead threat hunts using available logs and threat intelligence to identify and investigate potential risks and suspicious behavior
- Assist in the development of digital forensics processes and procedures to improve incident response capabilities
- Familiarity with security tools such as SIEM, FIM, Vulnerability Scanners, and SOAR
- Investigate security events for cloud platforms and technologies, including AWS, Azure, and GCP
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, preferably in threat hunting and incident response
- Strong understanding of common threat actor tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) and how they are chained together
- Experience leading threat hunts and investigations
- Expertise with observability and security tools like Splunk, ELK, and Snowflake
- Industry-recognized certifications such as CISSP, SANS GIAC, or AWS certifications
