As a Senior Data Design Engineer at Commonwealth Bank, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our data-driven solutions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of data warehousing and enterprise analytics solutions using Teradata and other relevant data platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate diverse sets of data from multiple sources and drive business insights.
  • Develop and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models using data modelling techniques such as Data Vault, Kimball, and 3NF.
  • Design and implement data governance frameworks to ensure data quality and integrity.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in big data and data analytics.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in data modelling, big data platforms, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency in languages such as Scala, ANSI/ISO SQL, and AbInitio graph.
  • Experience with machine learning libraries and model development.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
