Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Direct Care Worker. This is a casual position, offering the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others.

About the Role

In this role, you will play a vital part in providing exceptional care and support to our residents. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting, supporting mobility and dexterity, and aiding with transfers and lifting using aids.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assisting with daily living activities, including personal care and grooming
  • Providing physical support and assistance with mobility and dexterity
  • Aiding with transfers and lifting using equipment and assistive devices
  • Communicating effectively with residents and responding to their needs
  • Cleaning and maintaining the living environment

Requirements

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to relate to individuals from diverse backgrounds
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
  • Proven track record of meeting deadlines and prioritizing tasks
