About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team at cohealth, a leading community health organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering Psychology services within our Chronic Pain Model of care, which aims to reduce the impact of persistent pain by optimising pain treatments, improving function and promoting self-management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work within a multidisciplinary team to deliver and evaluate a Chronic Pain Service in the primary care setting
  • Provide psychological assessment and participate in coordinated care planning and treatment
  • Facilitate and deliver content in the pain education group program - 'Living Well With Pain' as required
  • Provide individual psychology consultations for people referred into the chronic pain program

Requirements:
  • Master or Doctorate of Psychology (clinical or health) as accredited by the Australian Psychological Society (APS)
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (Psychology Board of Australia)
  • Endorsement as a Clinical or Health Psychologist with AHPRA or willingness to engage in the registrar supervision program to achieve endorsement
  • Experience and interest in the field of Psychology in relation to chronic health conditions, including chronic pain, and at least two years of professional experience in a clinical setting as a Psychologist

Please note that all appointments are made subject to a satisfactory Police Check, a Working With Children Check (WWCC), completion of a Pre-Employment Declaration Form, evidence of legal rights to work in Australia, and evidence of vaccination against COVID-19 (3 doses).
