Job Placement Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Job Placement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting young people in developing the skills and confidence they need to enter employment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct intake assessments with job seekers to identify their strengths and areas for development.
  • Work closely with job seekers to set goals and implement strategies tailored to their unique needs.
  • Source and match employment opportunities using a strengths-based, client-centered approach.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with relevant community organizations to support work readiness.
  • Utilize cold calling and reverse marketing techniques to connect job seekers with employers.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience in Employment Services or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of the local labour market and the challenges faced by disadvantaged young people.
  • Ability to meet Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and drive positive outcomes for job seekers.
  • Proficient skills in using technology and systems.
  • Excellent employer engagement skills, including cold calling and reverse marketing.
