The role requires a maintenance engineer with experience in batch manufacturing environments and maintenance engineering. They must have a bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, electromechanical or process engineering.

Key responsibilities include providing technical advice to production teams on equipment operation and maintenance strategies; performing risk assessments and implementing preventative measures to minimize downtime; supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technicians; and staying up-to-date with the latest industry developments and technologies.

The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Experience working with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) is highly desirable.
