We are seeking a diligent and eager individual to join our team as a Staff Member. This is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates or job seekers looking to gain valuable experience in the steel industry.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong willingness to learn, good communication skills, and a passion for learning about the steel products we manufacture.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist experienced tradesmen with fabrication and handling of steel products

- Learn about different types of steel products and their applications

- Develop skills in stock rotation, allocation, and management

- Gain proficiency in using machines, workshop equipment, and tools

- Maintain a safe and hazard-free work environment at all times

- Provide exceptional customer service and retail sales support

- Identify problems and propose solutions in fabrication and other areas

Requirements:

- Current Australian driver's license or reliable transport

- Flexibility and ability to start immediately

Eligibility:

- Must be eligible to work permanently in Australia (e.g. citizen, permanent resident)

Covid-19 Precautions:

- Social distancing guidelines in place

- Sanitising, disinfecting or cleaning procedures in place

Work Arrangements:

- Casual position with 8 hour shifts

- Monday to Friday availability required

Supplementary Pay:

- Overtime pay available
