We're seeking a seasoned Senior Tester to lead our quality assurance efforts in Adelaide. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for driving quality assurance to new heights.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and cases, aligning them with organizational goals and best practices.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define testing needs and establish key metrics.
- Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
- Track and document defects using JIRA, analyze trends, and work with developers to resolve and verify fixes.
- Design and implement automation frameworks using Appium and Selenium.
- Develop and maintain regression testing scripts and utilize Unix/bash/Python scripting for automation and data handling.
- Validate REST API endpoints, performance, and security.
- Test web interfaces and Oracle databases using SQL queries and scripts.
- Assess iOS and Android applications for functionality, performance, and user experience.
- Implement strategies to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Foster teamwork within the testing team and across departments.
- Communicate testing progress, issues, and risks to stakeholders and contribute to project meetings with valuable insights.
- Standardize testing processes and best practices, develop training programs to enhance team skills, and continuously improve testing tools and methodologies.
- Minimum of 6 years in software testing, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead role.
- Proficiency in Appium and Selenium.
- Experience with Red Hat Linux and Bash/Python scripting.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle SQL and familiarity with JIRA and Bitbucket/GIT.
- Expertise in iOS and Android app testing, REST API testing, and security testing.
- Industry background in billing or telecom is highly preferred.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
