Dedicated Disability Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will work with individuals living with disability, providing personalized support and assistance in daily activities.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high-quality personal care, including toileting, showering, and dressing;
- Operating mobility aids such as hoists, Sara Stedy, and other assistive equipment;
- Providing support with meals, medication, and transfers;
- Monitoring and reporting on client wellbeing and daily activities;
In addition to these core responsibilities, you will also be required to maintain accurate case notes and submit incident reports as needed. You will work collaboratively with clients, their families, and other support staff to ensure seamless delivery of services.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care. Experience working with clients with Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) or complex needs is highly desirable. You will also require a National Police Check, Working with Children Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.

Key Qualifications and Requirements- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Disability/Aged Care;
- Manual handling experience;
- Previous experience supporting clients with ABI or complex needs (preferred);
- NDIS Worker Screening Check;
- Working with Children Check;
- National Police Check;
- First Aid & CPR Certification (Current);
- National Police Check;
- Driver's License (mandatory);
- Access to reliable, insured vehicle (preferred);
- Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate;
- ABN and Public Liability Insurance (if contracting).
