We are seeking an experienced Delivery Manager to join our Commercial Technology division at Coles Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the portfolio of master data management, including application development projects from inception through to service transition and operations.
Your Key Responsibilities- Manage and lead a team of Business Analysts, Senior Business Managers, and Project/Program Managers to deliver large-scale, complex mission-critical IT systems.
- Develop and implement IT strategies and roadmaps for merchandise, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives.
- Provide portfolio-level management and governance, including oversight and reporting of project progress, risks, issues, dependencies, and progress against allocated budget.
- Proactively reduce the Cost of Doing Business (CODB) through successful delivery of projects and optimize the IT resource model.
- Manage senior stakeholder communications during releases and in significant outage/service level impact situations to enable key recovery decisions.
- Lead and manage a large functional area comprising multi-disciplined teams, including permanent, contractor, outsourced, and offshore teams.
- Manage commercial outcomes, including with third-party suppliers.
- Facilitate the resolution of difficult technical issues, leveraging different support arrangements, teams, and personnel to achieve the outcome and minimize service level impacts.
We are looking for an experienced and proven people leader with a track record of managing large and complex projects in an enterprise environment. You should have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, and experience managing relationships with senior management teams.
You should also have previous experience managing department and project budgets, negotiating with third-party suppliers, and delivering IT strategies and architectures. Additionally, you should have experience managing diverse teams in a dynamic development environment and proven expertise in delivery of large-scale, complex mission-critical IT systems.
Excellent analytical and problem-resolution skills, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and proven customer relationship management skills are essential for this role.
